Welcome to the Lake Loop Trail, this trail is about 2 miles in length. It is considered easy to moderate with some steep hills. Before you go be sure to put on mosquito spray and have a water bottle with you. The trail starts at the lakeshore and has 13 stops. Points of interest are a pollinator field, oak ridges, tamarack and spruce swamps, floating bogs, Pine Point Spur (the halfway point of your hike), and beaver lodges. Beware that the south side of the lake can be soggy at times, especially after a lot of rain.
