Long Lake's staff, along with members of the Minnesota Astronomical Society will share information about the fascinating world of stargazing. Participate in astronomy activities and explore with the inflatable planetarium

Guided stargazing. See the planets, constellations, moon and other interstellar objects.

We are excited to announce the dates and theme for this year’s Statewide Star Party! Join us on Thursday, August 10–Saturday, August 12, 2023 to coincide with the peaking of the Perseids Meteor Shower! This year’s theme “Astronomy for All” is designed to empower the astronomer within all of us. Whether stargazing with binoculars, using the stars to guide sea navigation, or applying the laws of astrophysics, there are entry points for all ages, all abilities, and all perspectives to share in the joys and wonders of our deep skies.
